WikiCollector is an independent project built around the full English Wikipedia. Open packs, keep every card, and create public collections from cards you own.

What’s here today

Email and password accounts, ten-card packs, persistent inventory, personal collections and community votes. New accounts start with 3 packs. Packs regenerate every 10 minutes, up to 10. This cadence is provisional.

The collection game

The preview includes a WikiCoin marketplace, community albums, achievements and a pack shop using in-game points. Premium entitlements support faster pack regeneration. Real-money checkout and production release remain in preparation. There is no combat.

Articles, rarity and images

Pack articles are drawn through Wikipedia’s random article API. We keep the article ID, revision and measured month. Rarity is based on human article views across all access methods in the last complete calendar month. Gold packs exclude Common cards and Legendary packs guarantee at least one Legendary, including the Special Legendary finish. Other packs promise no particular rarity. Articles without images remain eligible. Featured cards on the homepage are examples, not a restricted draw pool.

The catalogue covers all English Wikipedia topics, including mature subjects. Public launch requires a completed moderation, privacy and account recovery workflow.

Privacy and product measurement

We use PostHog for pseudonymous product analytics and masked session replay, and Sentry for filtered technical errors. Google Analytics integration is prepared for acquisition measurement but awaits its dedicated configuration. The private preview has no analytics opt-in banner; product analytics respects existing opt-outs and browser privacy signals.
