Card rarity
WikiCollector sets each card’s rarity from the article’s human page views on English Wikipedia in one measured month. The active catalogue uses August 2026 views for 7,235,024 articles. Six tiers run from Common (under 250 views) to Legendary (100,000 or more).
Cards you own keep the views and rarity they were drawn with. Wikipedia’s own pageview tools may show different, more recent numbers; they do not change card rarity.
| Rarity | Human views in the month | Cards in the catalogue | Share |

Page views are a public, comparable measure of attention. WikiCollector uses Wikimedia’s complete monthly data for human readers, across desktop, mobile web and the Wikipedia apps. A card shows how much a subject was read in its measured month, not how important it is. Cards you own keep the views and rarity they were drawn with.
Every eligible article has the same chance of being drawn, so the chance of a tier follows its share of the catalogue. Pack-by-pack figures are on the rarity and drop-rate page.
FAQ
Cards you own keep the views and rarity they were drawn with. The active catalogue uses August 2026 views.
No. Rarity uses Wikimedia's human pageview data, which leaves out automated traffic, adding desktop, mobile web and the Wikipedia apps.
Most English Wikipedia articles are read fewer than 250 times in a month, so most cards are Common. A card reflects how much attention a subject received, not its importance.
It can show another month, and it counts each title separately. WikiCollector's catalogue adds up one measured month by article. Those newer numbers do not change card rarity.
